Because we have known Daniel for a pretty long time it is nice to see somebody who is not afraid to change up or fine tune his style with each part he puts out. This part stands out in various ways, firstly the music some, secondly the tricks, thirdly the scenery and lastly the cinematographic qualities in both the filming and the grading. This clip shows you how things look and feel when it all comes together.
Nike SB – Karsto and Janno
Actually it is the custom that the greatest parts get announced far in advance, so usually we are prepared to get sparked. However, this mind-blowing part from Karsten Kleppan and Jon Henrik Kongstein came just out of nowhere and causes open mouths. In case you are still reading, stopp here and hit the play button and get enchanted by the duo who have been shredding their home town in Norway every spare moment this past summer.
Matt Militano – Deep Fried America Part
Matt Militano’s part is simply amazing. One also has to compliment filmmaker Cody Thompson who perfectly knows how to handle a VX1000 in the best possible way. Definitely one of those parts that will stuck in my mind for a while.
Phil Zwijsen – Water Proof
Usually, when it is raining a skateboarder stays at home sitting at the window with a crumpled face watching the drops falling down. Skateboarding and rainy weather just do not live in harmony with each other. Well, I said “usually” because Element Skateboard’s Phil Zwijsen defies the laws of nature to film an unbelievable full part during rainy days and nights using wet and slippery grounds as an advantage and turning puddles into spots.
Paul Hart – In Hart We Trust Part
Paul Hart is a beast, and that not just since yesterday! Now he finally turned pro on Cliché Skateboards and as it should be released a pro debut part as well. Everything the “hart” way of course.
Nick Michel – Losing Transworld Come Up Tour Part
Honestly, I never heard about Nick Michel before and I probably would have never come across this part if my friend Edouard Depaz would not have posted this on his Facebook feed. It seems like Nick Michel’s part was initially produced for some whatever contest by Transworld Magazine and maybe the headline is an expression of dissapointment about his loss or maybe just a little self-irony. I don’t know. However, this is a really great part the world should see, not just because of Nick’s skating, the filming is on another level as well.
See Him Rolling – Alex Mizurov
It has been a while, but Alex Mizurov is back. We asked the guy who made himself an international name ten years ago by defeating Chris Cole in one of the most reminded Games of S.K.A.T.E. ever, how he himself sees his new part and his development in the last couple years:
“I would not really say that I got either better or worse. I think I definitely developed in the sense that my skating became more fluid. And, of course, I used to wear more baggy pants and larger shirts back then, today I like it rather plain.”

Whatever kind of spot you put in front of Shawn Hale, there are always three things guaranteed: 1. He will be able to skate it. 2. He will skate it. 3. He will to something you might never dare to think about.
Jarne Verbruggen – Never Skatebored Part
Obviously, it would be hypocritical to believe that skateboarding for Jarne Verbruggen could ever get boring when he is meeting new challenges whenever he steps on his wood. Moreover, Jarne seems to be a very funny person as well, which makes this part a complete entertainment package.
Geoff Campbell – UBG Vol. 1
UBG Vol. 1 is a full length independent skateboard film shot in the city of Melbourne featuring, among others, Geoff Campbell, who almost got hit by a car but after that moment of shock luckily delivers a part with a great trick choice and his well-known one-of-a-kind style. Too bad the part is just 1:40 minutes.
Josef Scott Jatta – Full Part
I have always been a big fan of Josef Scott’s way of skating. Some people just have this style that looks so chilled like they do not give a damn about anything. It is that kind of style when someone even can land a trick sketchy and still the trick was “perfect”. Certainly, Josef Scott rolls away clean most of the time, but whenever the trick gets a little sketchy you will know exactly what I am talking about. However, this is a very solid part!
Valentin Ott – Daggers Full Part
We proudly present the first part of Favorite Skateboard’s first full length called “Daggers”. Berlin’s Valentin Ott is one of those type of skateboarders that don’t use social media, that still own a dumbphone and rather stay away from the spotlight and therefore erroneously are very much underrated. A fact that might change for Valle with this full part!
adidas Skateboarding Lucas Puig Redux Part
Lucas Puig is known to many of us as one of the best to ever do it, Quartersnacks named him the skater of the decade, Dill said his tricks are like bullets, so Adidas decided to mix his best footage from the last five years seems like a great idea! Even if it is just to refresh your memory, or to find out why those people said what they said about Mr. Puig. As for us, we feel like this redux only solidifies why Lucas is deserving of all that he’s got.
