A very dope squad went to some great places to celebrate 2 really cool editions of their superstar classic. All in all a fun to watch, successful project.
Good things turn… the tide turn, the solar system spins, our own planet rotates and Brian Peacock makes the rounds at some of these perfect marble plazas in China. He doesn’t do it alone though Lucas Puig, Rodrigo Teixeira, Jenn Soto, Mariah Duran and Stephen Khou joined him to create this video together. Enjoy.
The extension edit from the Das Days in São Paulo with a good squad, extra credit must be given to Klaus Bohms for that extraordinary tailslide.
For those of us that follow Heitor Da Silva, it was a wonderful thing to see him go back to Brasil!
Not only did he go on tour with the /// team but he went with some legends from the largest Portuguese speaking nation.
Felipe and Rodrigo TX where shoulder to shoulder with the kid and that must feel nice- it must feel like coming home! Norway and Brasil birthed a brilliant combination on a skateboard.
Remember those Vogue skateboard magazine t-shirts, the one with the Thrasher font? Well, there might be more truth to that shirt than we thought because they just released a really good article about the rise of women in skateboarding. Here is a part of the article
“In 2005, the Action Sports Alliance staged a women’s boycott of the X Games until pay and media coverage were improved. A year later, they landed a meeting with John Skipper, then president of ESPN, who agreed he would bring the women’s prize winnings up every year until it was equal to the men’s earnings. “He was true to his word,” says Knoop. In 2008, the women and men’s champions both took home $40,000. “And it’s been equal ever since.””
